BOTANICALS

The “Botanicals” paintings and drawings, mainly done in 2014 and 2015, are calm and contemplative scenes. Their imagery draws references to medieval tapestries, Buddhist lotus flowers, and Zen symbols. Deer, owls, ravens populate the landscapes.
